Mr. Fensterman is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Long Island Chapter. He was the organization’s honoree at the Annual Celebration and Gala Fundraiser in May of 2011.
In 2008, Governor Paterson appointed Mr. Fensterman to serve on the New York State Public Health Council. He has since been appointed to the re-established Public Health and Health Planning Council (PHHPC) by New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo. The Public Health Council (PHC) and the State Hospital Review and Planning Council (SHRPC) were consolidated into the Public Health and Health Planning Council (PHHPC) on December 1, 2010.
